Well. its official. I am a soccer mom - with the soccer mom van. Who would have ever guessed? I am loving EVERY minute of it! Recently Madison and Trevor deceided that they wanted to start playing soccer. Fortunately, CCV (Christ Church of the Valley) where we go to church, has a fantastic soccer league called the CCV Stars. In only a few years it has grown from 100 players to just over 2400 kids who participate in either soccer, flag football or cheerleading. Madison is doing great, she has met some new friends and it is so good to see that she is having so much fun being a part of a team. Trevor, well he is our little "Casanova" and his focus is more on flirting with the girls on his team (or the other team for that fact) than he is playing soccer. Watching him play his game is comical - whether he is messing with his socks or taking frequent water breaks (even during the game) Trevor has made quite a name for himself and is known to everybody.
